Charles holds a bachelor’s degree, a masters degree and a PhD all in English Language studies. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and the Assured Certificate for Teacher Educators from the British Council. He is a seasoned teacher who has taught English language at various levels; primary to tertiary. He has served and still serving as a mentor teacher, master trainer and consultant for the Bauchi state government, Federal Ministry of Education, World Bank and many other non-governmental organizations such as USAID, FCDO, UNICEF, WORLD BANK, DFID, FHI-360, Victims Support Fund, FOMWAN and many others. His major areas of specialty are foundational literacy with emphasis on Early Grade Reading, teacher education and education in emergencies and conflict areas.
