Nurudeen Lawal
Nurudeen Lawal is an educational leader with more than 22 years of technical and management experience in implementing international development programs to improve education quality, and access for vulnerable children and youths.
He was the Chief of Party of the USAID Funded Leveraging Education Assistance Resources in Nigeria (LEARN) to Read project, Chief of Party on the USAID funded Northern Education Initiative Plus, Project Director for the DFID/UNICEF/FHI360 Reading and Numeracy Activity project, Teacher Development Specialist on USAID Room to Learn project in South Sudan.
Nurudeen has thus led the two most significant mother-tongue Early Grade Reading interventions in Nigeria. Previously, he lectured in the now Michael Otedola College of Education and Lagos State University, Ojo. Nurudeen’s special interest is in education management and reforms, and teacher education.
